Though best known as a youth sports photographer, Emily also dips her toes in Professional Sports as well. Emily has photographed Family Portraiture, High School Seniors, Babies, Head shots, Landscape and some Photojournalism. She has been a photographer since 2010. Her father was the reason she took up photography. He has been a Landscape and Event Photographer for over 40 years and Emily was always around his equipment and even on a few shooting assignments. Even though Emily has taken a different route in her career with Photojournalism Sports, she still loves nature and shooting Landscapes. Emily decided to start shooting sport when her daughter started playing soccer at the age of 5.
After being told she could not work at a desk job anymore due to several neck and back surgeries, Emily decided to create a business out of what she loves to do. Emily went back to school at The Art Institute of Colorado and received her degree in Business and Digital Image Management.
Emily's unique blend of style is developed from a broad range of artistic and photographic experience. She is comfortable and relaxed in both the studio and shooting on location, possessing the uncanny ability to be creative even under pressure. Emily is a strong advocate in killing your television and enjoys nature, reading, coffee and intense conversation. She currently lives in Aurora, Colorado with her husband James and children. When not on shooting assignments she can most often be found at home enjoying her husband and kids.
